It has been nearly a year since the UK voted to leave the European Union, and a lot has happened since that poll on 23 June 2016. Politicians have come and gone, a General Election has been called, and the UK Government has kick started the Article 50 process.
On the first anniversary of the EU Referendum, academics from Cardiff University’s Wales Governance Centre will come together at a public event to explore some of the legal, political and financial issues attached to Brexit, considering Welsh, British and European dimensions. This is a public event. All welcome.
- Dr Jo Hunt, senior fellow at The UK in a Changing Europe
- Dr Rachel Minto, research associate at Cardiff University
- Ed Poole, Lecturer in Politics and International Relations
- Prof. Roger Scully, professor of political science at Cardiff University
The event is hosted by the Wales Governance Centre at Cardiff University and is funded by The UK in a Changing Europe initiative. The event will also include a Question and Answer session.
A light lunch will follow the event. Click here to register.View all events
