Small and medium enterprises are vital to the UK economy, yet a year on from the EU referendum small business owners continue to face uncertainty about the processes and consequences of Brexit. The outcome of the General Election has done little to reassure the small business community and confidence remains low.
Manchester Metropolitan Business School is hosting a forum that will bring together academics and representatives from the small business community to explore some of the practical and policy concerns surrounding Brexit. The forum aims to encourage discussion and the sharing of experience and learning. There will be an emphasis on opportunities for questions and all participants will be encouraged to have their say.
- Professor Kevin Albertson, Manchester Metropolitan University Business School
- Dr Dimitrios Syrrakos, Manchester Metropolitan University Business School
A buffet will be provided and the session will conclude with a panel discussion. The event is funded by the UK in a Changing Europe Initiative.
