With attention focused on the negotiation taking place between the UK and the EU in Brussels, insufficient attention has been paid to the nature and complexities of the parliamentary processes that will begin one a deal has been done or, alternatively, in the event that no deal can be done. Drawing on detailed research into parliamentary procedure, they alert us to the twists and turns that lie ahead as we approach the planned date of Britain’s exit from the European Union.
