Unsettled status: which EU citizens are at risk of failing to secure their rights after Brexit?

This report looks at the government system designed to give EU citizens already living here ‘settled status.’

The author of the report, Madeleine Sumption, Brexit coordinator at The UK in a Changing Europe identifies four different groups of people who are likely to be affected by this new system including children, very long – term residents, people who have applied for permanent residence and people who believe they are ineligible.
