The authoritative source for independent research on UK-EU relations

UK in a Changing Europe’s Brexit Witness Archive is a unique insight into the process Brexit. Its purpose is to record the recollections and perspectives of those involved in the decision to hold a referendum, the Leave and Remain campaigns, and those who were big actors in the aftermath of the United Kingdom’s decision to leave the European Union after June 2016 – in government, in parliament, across the Brexit debate.

The archive will be a long-term public resource accessible to everyone seeking to understand and draw lessons from a dramatic and consequential period in the country’s history.

These interviews by members of the team at the UK in a Changing Europe began in summer 2020 and will continue throughout 2021. Watch out as we add more interviews to the archive. Please read and use them.
