First Minister of Wales Brexit speech

First Minister of Wales, Carwyn Jones, will give a speech marking two years since the referendum and nine months until the UK formally leaves the EU. The event is organised by The UK in a Changing Europe and hosted by Kings College, London.

The First Minister will set out the case for the UK Government to use their upcoming White Paper to change direction and to put the national interest first. The First Minister will call for a change of substance and tone to secure a positive partnership with the EU.

10.20am – Introduction by Dr Simon Usherwood, deputy director The UK in a Changing Europe
10.25am – First Minister’s speech
10.55am – Q&A with the First Minister chaired by Dr Usherwood
11.15am – End of programme
