Workshop for early career researchers on the ‘Political economy of Brexit’

A workshop for early career researchers (ECRs) is being organised by Sarah Hall and David Bailey, both senior research fellows at the UK in a Changing Europe.

This workshop, held in conjunction with The UK in a Changing Europe, is intended to provide early career researchers (ECRs) with the opportunity to share and discuss their work on the political economy of Brexit and to forge links to disseminate and publicise your research with the ESRC’s UK in a Changing Europe initiative.

The intention is to build a community of younger scholars who can contribute to our work on an ongoing basis while benefiting from the opportunities for engagement and impact that such collaboration will afford.

In order to participate through presenting a paper, please email a title and 250 word abstract to Sarah Hall (sarah.hall@nottingham.ac.uk) and David Bailey (d.g.bailey@bham.ac.uk) by 8 November.

If you wish to participate in the workshop without presenting a paper, please send a 250 summary of your research interests by 8 November to the email addresses above.

The workshop timetable will be finalised by the end of November. There will be support travel for successful applicants and a lunch will be provided.

Date and time: 9 – 5pm, 21 January 2020

Venue: University of Nottingham
