The UK has high regional inequality and the promise to tackle this was at the forefront of Boris Johnson’s 2019 Conservative manifesto with his Levelling Up agenda.

With a new Prime Minister in Number 10, and work still to be done, how can the Government deliver on its commitment to ‘level up’?

The Policy Institute at King’s College London and UK in a Changing Europe will discuss this as we present new research into people’s attitudes towards the places they live, regional inequality and local pride. The session will discuss how the Government can make policies that make a difference to people’s lives, communities, and standards of living.
