How will the vote counting be done?

Counting will begin once polls close at 10pm of June 23. There will be 12 counting centres across the UK, with the results from each of these returned to the Chief Counting Officer in Manchester. The Chief Counting Officer will oversee the collation of the votes and certify the overall result as accurate before officially announcing the result on Friday 24 June.
