Who is Suella Braverman?

Suella Braverman is Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Exiting the European Union, a role to which she was appointed in June 2017. This is a junior ministerial role within the department responsible for implementing Brexit.

First elected to Parliament in May 2015, during the EU referendum she supported the Leave campaign. Prior to being a minister, Braverman was Chair of the European Research Group of eurosceptic Conservative MPs.
