Voting with their money: Brexit and outward investment by UK firms

Media reports suggest that some UK firms have started to move production abroad in anticipation of Brexit. This has generated fears that the UK is missing out on new
investment and jobs. In this report, the authors provide a first systematic analysis of how the Brexit vote has affected outward investment by UK firms.
