The UK in a Changing Europe is proud to announce that it won the Prospect Think Tank Award 2018 for best UK think tank in Global Affairs.

Professor Anand Menon, director of The UK in a Changing Europe, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have won this award which I hope reflects the success of our efforts to illustrate that research based social science can be instrumental in informing and shaping both political and public debates.”

The annual Prospect think tank awards are presented in recognition of the important work carried out by think tanks across the globe. The aim of the awards is to honour the achievements of the organisations that help to shape public and political thinking on policy questions.

The awards are judged by an independent, cross-party panel chaired by the Editor, Tom Clark. The judges look for evidence of influence on public policy and on the public discourse and consider the quality of research—and the potential of younger and smaller organisations.
