Inquiry into data sharing and the use of administrative records to provide enhanced statistics

The evidence in this paper explains the relationship between different sources of migration-related data, including National Insurance numbers (NINOs) and how additional administrative data and analysis from HMRC and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), not yet released in response to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests or provided to the Office of National Statistics (ONS) might assist in improving migration data.
