Who is Keir Starmer?

Keir Starmer is the Leader of the Opposition, following his election as leader of the Labour Party in April 2020. Prior to this, he was Shadow Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union from October 2016. This meant he was the principal spokesperson for the Labour Party on Brexit issues. He was first elected to parliament in May 2015, and represents the constituency of Holborn and St Pancras.
