One min Brexit challenge: why are politicians finding it so hard to deal with Brexit?

It’s a crucial question, because parliament will ultimately have to vote on Brexit and this depends on how individual politicians will vote. A majority of MPs voted remain and have been playing catch up with public opinion (who voted leave) ever since. There are different ways to do Brexit.

There are politicians who want a soft Brexit, leavers who want a no deal Brexit, and to add another layer there are some MPs who don’t want a Brexit and intend to have a referendum to stop Brexit. To make it even messier, both parties are in open revolt with their leaders, who cannot tell MPs what to do.
